RBC Race for the Kids 2022
8 Oct 2022
Registration fee: Adult - £21.50. Use discount code RACE25 for a 25% discount until 9am on 30 September. Kids go free.
Step up to the starting line in London’s Hyde Park and run, walk, wheel or scoot 5K at RBC Race for the Kids, a family fun run raising money for GOSH Charity.
All ages and abilities can complete the course, and your fundraising will help to transform the futures of seriously ill children from across the UK.
On the day
Start the race at 10am and take in the festival atmosphere, along with scenic views of London’s iconic Hyde Park. The route has been specially designed to be accessible to all, and dogs are welcome to join the fun too. Feel the thrill of fundraising as part of a group event once again, with cheering crowds motivating you every step of the way.
After you’ve finished the course, collect your medal and head over to the festival village to cool down and recover with refreshments and entertainment.
If you’re taking part as a family, adult registration is £21.50 and children under 16 can run for free, although they need to be registered to take part. You can even enter as a team to get some friendly competition going.
The event will see people of all ages and abilities take part from babies in pushchairs to grandparents and wheelchair racers. Everyone is welcome to walk, run, scoot or wheel their way around the course.
The race will go ahead whatever the weather on the day, so please plan ahead and dress appropriately; wearing layers under your race t-shirts if you think you'll be cold. Water taps will be provided to fill up your water bottles, as well as first aiders along the route to ensure the race is safe, accessible and enjoyable for all.

Fundraising for GOSH
Sponsorship raised from events like Race for the Kids helps us to change the lives of seriously ill children from across the UK. Any sponsorship money you raise will make a huge difference to the children and families at the hospital.
You'll be helping to fund state-of-the-art medical technology; pioneering research programmes into treatments and cures for rare conditions; patient, family and staff support services; and to create new child-focused environments that help children feel safe and calm during their appointments, treatments and recovery.
Green is good
RBC Race for the Kids takes place in one of London’s most beautiful Royal Parks. We want to support the environment as much as possible in the run up to, and on, the day. You'll receive all event information digitally, wooden medals, virtual goodie bags and the choice to not have a t-shirt. The race is, once again, plastic bottle-free and there’ll be water refill points in the village to use prior to the start.
