About the GOSH Matchplay Cup
Teams of four compete in a fun-filled, Ryder Cup-style golf tournament, under the leadership of celebrity captains. The day continues with a drink’s reception, delicious three-course dinner and an exclusive celebrity Q&A. Previous guests have included golfing legends Colin Montgomerie, Sir Nick Faldo, Danny Willett, Lee Westwood and Thomas Bjørn.
The day wouldn’t be complete without lots of exciting fundraising opportunities, with guests invited to bid on a number of exceptional items and experiences in our luxury live and silent auctions. Every bid, donation, and show of support helps us give seriously ill children the best chance and the best childhood possible.
The 2026 Matchplay Cup at Woburn Golf Club marked a special milestone, celebrating 10 years of the event and raising a record-breaking £286,000 for the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
