Every moment matters for seriously ill children
When you’re young, Christmastime should be about getting ready for a visit from Santa, not for lifesaving surgery.
Some children have to do both.
No child should have to spend the festive period in hospital. But when they have to, we do everything we can to make it feel like home. Because every moment matters for seriously ill children.
Will you help us?
Where your donation goes this Christmas
Special, festive moments at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) can only happen because of supporters like you.
By donating to our Christmas Appeal, you’ll help to:
- bring joy to the wards – from tree decorating with the Play team to carol singing with the chaplaincy team
- keep families with a child in intensive care together through free accommodation right by the hospital
- find new treatments and cures for the rarest and most complex childhood illnesses, so more children can look forward to many more Christmases to come.
-
£50could fund everything a ballet dancer needs to bring festive joy to children on a ward for an hour.
-
£45could provide a night's stay in home-from-home accommodation, so children in intensive care have loved ones close.
-
£20could help fund all the supplies child health researchers need in the lab for a day.
