Research Fund

Show you believe in research. Donate today.

Here at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity we’ve created a research fund to help find cures for children with life-threatening and life-limiting diseases. Cures for children like Nina (pictured above with dad, Graeme), who was born without an immune system, meaning she was fighting for her life at just a few weeks old. A faulty gene was the problem and a groundbreaking research trial at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) saved her life.

As many as five children a day lose their lives  to a rare disease, yet only 5% of UK research funding is spent on projects relating to child health. We are the UK’s largest dedicated funder of child health research, but we urgently need more support to help take research further than it’s ever gone before.

We believe in the power of research. A regular gift will help fund more pioneering research that can lead to life-saving cures and kinder treatments for more rare and complex conditions.

Please give £5 a month to the GOSH Research Fund and help to give seriously ill children the chance of a better future. Not one day. Today.

If you'd prefer, you can also make a one-off donation.
