Because every moment matters for kids at Great Ormond Street Hospital
Ruby (pictured below, with her mum and dad) has spent most of the first 18 months of her life at GOSH, even celebrating her first Christmas in hospital. During their long stay, Ruby's family relied on the Play team and GOSH Arts for support, both of which are funded by GOSH Charity.
"Everyone deserves a chance at a really full life. Just because someone has a disability or is medically complex doesn't mean that they should be overlooked or pitied," Ruby's mum, Elle, says.
With the right therapies and continued medical advancements, there’s hope for meaningful progress for kids like Ruby, and every milestone – no matter how small – becomes a celebration of resilience and strength.
