Childhood and cancer. Two words that should never go together.

But every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. That’s five families who are faced with the worst news possible.

Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) cares for children with the hardest to treat cancers but the hospital needs a new home to create breakthrough therapies which will benefit children all over the world.

A new world-class centre that will treat the child, not just their disease. A gateway for children to go on to better futures, where they not only survive, but flourish.

How your support could help

  • £50
Could help towards a ventilator for the Critical Care Unit in the new Children's Cancer Centre.
  • £30
Could help towards the cost of a specialist children’s bed on one of our new cancer wards.
  • £25
Could help towards a bespoke sofa bed so that a parent can stay overnight with their child in their room.

Donate and support more families like Ralphie's

The new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH will help children like Ralphie, who was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) when he was just a few weeks old.

From there, he started intense treatment at the hospital.

Despite initially having a bad reaction to chemotherapy, Ralphie responded well to treatment and, after six months at GOSH, went home on Mother’s Day 2023.

For children who need cancer treatment, I think the new Children's Cancer Centre will be great because they’ll be in an environment where they feel safe and know that they’re getting the right treatment.

Luke, Ralphie's dad

The new Children's Cancer Centre will be a place designed with the needs of children like Ralphie and their families at its heart. A place that will support every aspect of care, from diagnosis to remission and beyond.

Help us build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH and save more children’s lives.

If you can help build it, you can help beat it.

Build it. Beat it.

All the funds raised will go towards the development of cancer care at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In the event that costs change, or the needs of the hospital or patients change, we reserve the right to redirect funds for use against the hospital’s most urgent needs.
