Join the Christmas Stocking Walk
Every child should have the chance to be at home with their families for Christmas Day. By donning your favourite festive socks and organising a sponsored Christmas Stocking Walk, you’ll be helping fund vital resources and support that Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) needs to get seriously ill children one step closer to home.
What? Whether on your own, with your friends, family, colleagues or classmates - organise a sponsored walk to help raise funds for GOSH Charity this Christmas. Wear your favourite Christmas socks to help get everyone in the holiday spirit!
When? Choose a date between Monday 4 and Friday 10 December to suit you.
Where? Whether you hold a walk in your local park, with your child's school, or with colleagues in an area local to your office - the choice is yours.
How far? There is no set distance, so whether it’s one, five or 10 miles, choose whatever works for you!
Sign up: Once you've decided when, where and how long your walk will be, you're ready to kick- start your fundraising by setting up your JustGiving page.

Henry's GOSH journey

Henry was transferred to GOSH when he was five weeks old, after doctors at his local hospital discovered severe issues with his windpipe and trachea.
Henry spent a total of 15 months at GOSH, including his first birthday and two Christmases. Mum, Shevonne, says: “During our time in hospital with Henry, we felt completely informed and at the centre of our child’s care. The collaboration across disciplines at GOSH, and with us as parents, was phenomenal.”
Thanks to support from GOSH, Henry is now able to spend Christmas at home with his family.
Your support can help more children like Henry get one step closer to home this Christmas.
