Fundraising ideas for kids
Active adventurers
Get sponsored while you get sporty. Choose from a sponsored walk or run with your school, challenge yourself to swimming as many lengths as you can with family, bounce on a trampoline for as long as possible or learn to rollerblade or ride a bike with friends. Whether you choose your favourite sport or try something new, you’ll be helping children and families at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).
Crafty creators
Get creative to raise vital funds for seriously ill children. You can do a sponsored read-a-thon with classmates, organise a comedy or magic show through your favourite club, or make unique friendship bracelets in exchange for a donation.
Enterprising experts
Sell homemade bakes or crafts. You can set up a stall on your front doorstep, at school or at a local community event.
Party planners
This year for your birthday, why not ask for donations to GOSH Charity instead of presents?
Or you can choose a fun theme – a pyjama party, a back-to-school bash or a Halloween party – and ask for donations from your friends who attend. Whether it’s donating to take part in karaoke or pass-the-parcel, or donating to vote best dressed in the fancy dress competition, you’ll be sure to have lots of fun while supporting the children at GOSH.
Sustainable superheroes
Help GOSH Charity and the environment with activities like sponsored litter-picking, a book or toy swap and selling upcycled crafts made from recycled items in your home. Why not involve your school or club and get even more sustainable superheroes to support GOSH?
Handy helpers
There are always odd jobs that people don’t have time to do. Why not ask for donations in exchange for tidying up around the house, a neighbourhood car wash or dog walking for family or friends?
Classroom champions
Talk to your teachers and get your school involved. We’ve got plenty of school fundraising ideas for your classmates to choose from.
