About the GOSH Charity Christmas advert 2025
Our new Christmas advert is out, offering a glimpse into the very special world of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) at Christmastime.
The film highlights the warmth and moments of joy present in the hospital at this time of year – ensuring it feels like home for the children staying during the festive period.
There are quiet moments on the wards and in the hospital chapel, a graceful GOSH Arts ballet dancer gliding through the corridors, and a special visit from Santa himself. We also see a therapy dog bringing smiles, joyful party singalongs, and giggles with loved ones.
The film is a reminder that, for seriously ill children, every moment matters.
Behind the scenes
Over nine days in December 2024, we filmed with 13 remarkable families across multiple wards at GOSH. We worked alongside more than 80 members of staff to navigate the delicate realities of filming in a busy hospital.
Every moment in the film is genuine. There are no set-ups – just authentic snapshots of connection, care and courage, captured as they unfolded.
The result is a film that reflects the magic, resilience and warmth of GOSH at Christmas and the extraordinary families at the heart of it.
