Congratulations to our London Marathon runners

London Marathon Bryony

On Sunday 13 April more than 300 supporters took on the Virgin Money London Marathon to raise vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.

The #teamGOSH runners joined more than 35,000 people taking part in the UK's largest marathon, raising an estimated £460,000 for the charity.

The money raised will help fund the redevelopment of Great Ormond Street Hospital, replacing cramped, outdated wards in some of the hospital's oldest buildings with brand new state-of-the-art facilities which will provide more space, privacy and comfort for families, including space for a parent or carer to sleep by their child's bedside.

Kathryn Cheshire, Challenge Fundraising Manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, said: "Completing the Virgin Money London Marathon is such a fantastic achievement. Thank you to all our runners for taking part - the money you raised will help us make a real difference for patients and families from all around the UK."
