Join us at this year’s Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon

Runners with their medals at last year's Royal Parks Half Marathon

Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity has places available for this year's Royal Park's Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday 12 October 2014.

If you missed out on a place in this year's offical Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon ballot, why not take up one of our charity places and help us make a difference for Great Ormond Street Hospital's patients and families?

By joining our team, you'll be part of something amazing as you pound the 13.1 miles around four of London’s iconic royal parks, helping us raise vital funds for the hospital’s ambitious redevelopment programme. The redevelopment will transform outdated wards into world class, state of the art facilities where patients and their families will have more privacy, space and comfort, including space for a parent to sleep by their child’s bedside.

Fundraising Manager Kathryn Cheshire said: “The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is a really fantastic event and this year we want to welcome even more supporters to join our team and help to make a real difference for patients and families from across the UK.”

With post-race refreshments and massages as well as cheer points around the whole route, the charity will support you every step of the way as you take on this amazing challenge.

If you were one of the lucky runners who won a place in the ballot, you can still join our team - we are grateful for any support you can give.
