"I've met the most courageous, extraordinary and inspiring children in the country while witnessing the most incredible, pioneering and life-changing treatments," says Paul O'Grady.Go behind the scenes at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) for another heart-warming series of Paul O'Grady’s Little Heroes, starting on ITV at 8.30pm on Thursday 12 September. The six-part ITV series will provide a unique insight into the hospital and the lives of the brave and resilient children who are treated there every day.

Viewers will also have the opportunity to get to know the dedicated staff who care for and treat children from across the UK. These children have some of the most serious and complex conditions.

Making GOSH a home-from-home

Paul brings his unique blend of warmth and humour to the hospital as he meets children and young people who travel to GOSH from all corners of the UK, with each 30-minute episode focusing on two to three children and their journey through their specialist and pioneering treatment.

Filmed at the hospital earlier in the year, the series will see Paul help make GOSH a home-from-home, as he gets stuck in helping children and families through a difficult time in their lives with his trademark compassion and humour. Don't miss Paul putting on his cook’s hat to help in the real GOSH kitchen, rolling up his sleeves in the hospital laundry and watching life-saving surgery.

"Incredible dedication"

“It’s been a privilege to return to GOSH, meeting children and their families as they face complex medical conditions and treatments," says Paul.

“I’m so impressed by the incredible dedication of the staff who treat and care for the children and young people at GOSH, everyone from the front-line medical teams to the staff whose jobs are behind the scenes but are just as important.

“I can’t wait for you all to meet the children, young people and brave families who inspired me so much during my time at this very special hospital.”

Every day more than 600 seriously ill children arrive at GOSH from across the UK. Hear their stories and those of the incredible staff who care for them on Paul O’Grady’s Little Heroes. Find out more about the patients, families and staff from the series in the coming weeks here.
