We’re thrilled to share that over £250,000 has been raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) through a special series of auctions featuring over 500 artworks kindly donated by the Saatchi Collection, one of the world’s most famous private art collections.

The auctions, hosted by Artsy, featured pieces that have been exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery in London over the past 20 years, including works by Richard Billingham, Rafael Gomezbarros, Soheila Sokhanvari, Robin Lowe, Tillman Kaiser, John Stezaker, and Peter Davies, among others.

Take a look at some of the works featured in the gallery below.

Helping make Great Ormond Street Hospital extraordinary for seriously ill kids

Commenting on the initiative, Sarah Bissell, Deputy Director of Relationship Fundraising, says:

“The Saatchi Collection is an extraordinary celebration of contemporary art, and we are honoured that so many renowned works were included in this special series of auctions in support of GOSH Charity.”

We’re deeply grateful to the Saatchi Collection for its generosity, and to Artsy for hosting and bringing these auctions to life. Our heartfelt thanks also go to every buyer, bidder and supporter who took part.

Funds raised from the series will help to fund groundbreaking research into child health, cutting-edge medical equipment, the building and refurbishment of child-centred facilities, and essential support for patients, families and staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Together, we’re helping to give seriously ill children the best chance, and the best childhood, possible.
