Welcoming two new Trustees to GOSH Charity

16 Feb 2026, 1:46 p.m.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Leigh Brody and Kevin Aitchison, who joined Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) as Trustees in January.

Our Trustees play a vital role. They’re responsible for providing governance and leadership that help guide our work, which includes funding ground-breaking research, cutting-edge medical equipment and life-changing support.

Dr Leigh Brody

Dr Leigh Brody is an investment manager at AlbionVC, where she invests in transformative technologies and treatments developed through medical research. Before joining AlbionVC, she helped to create and grow several early-stage medical research businesses, including Desktop Genetics and Quell Therapeutics. Leigh also holds a PhD from Imperial College London.

Alongside her role as a Trustee, Leigh will sit on our Grants and Impact Committee, using her expertise to identify and fund new technologies and treatments that could change young lives. She will become Chair of the Committee in January 2027, when Jennifer Bethlehem comes to the end of her term.
