Make your own history by taking on this ultramarathon 100k challenge. Enjoy a route steeped in history, take on testing climbs and be rewarded by breathtaking scenes of the South Downs, Chichester Harbour AONB and the historic town of Arundel.

About the challenge

Dulux Race to the King is a stunning loop that sets off from Goodwood Racecourse in West Sussex.

This is a challenge inclusive of all ages, experience and fitness levels. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, patient plodder or weekend walker, you'll be inspired by every step you take. Choose to camp over the weekend or take on the full distance in one go.

Non-stop and weekender options

Choose from taking on the event non-stop or over the full weekend at whatever pace you would like, all while raising vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

To take part in the event non-stop (100k without camping):

  • Fundraising commitment: £450 (excluding Gift Aid) 
  • Registration fee: £40 per person

To take part in the event over the full weekend, including an overnight stop (camping between day 1 and day 2):

  • Fundraising commitment: £450 (excluding Gift Aid)
  • Registration fee: £60 per person
