OSCAR Dragon Boat Race
2026 marked the 11th year of our Oscar Dragon Boat Race, raising over £495,000 for the new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
And now, the race is back for 2027.
The 2027 Oscar Dragon Boat Race will take place on Thursday 9 September.
A spectacular annual shipping industry showdown, the event brings together 30 elite teams for a fantastic day of racing, networking and fundraising.
Teams battle it out on the water at the Docklands Sailing and Watersports Centre, before the top six go head-to-head in the final to compete for the win.
Alongside the racing, guests can enjoy a bar, BBQ, quayside games, refreshing drinks, and lively entertainment.
