Help give seriously ill children at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) the best chance and the best childhood possible with this calendar of fun-raising ideas.
Fundraising through the seasons
New year, new challenge
We all know it can be hard to stay focused and inspired during the cold winter months. Why not try something different to kick start the new year?
It could be anything, from spending less time on your phone, to five minutes of yoga a day or trying a new recipe every week. Whatever you choose, try something new and raise vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) along the way.
Spring into action
As the sun starts shining in spring, why not get outside with a step or distance challenge? Whether it’s walking a mile a day or running 50 km in a month, pick your step count or distance and get moving.
Sprint like a superhero or whizz on wheels, it will all add up to help even more patients and families at GOSH.
If you’re celebrating Easter, why not host an egg hunt for your family or neighbours and ask for a contribution to take part? Or organise a hot cross bun decorating party and crown the most creative competitor.
Summer celebrations
Summer is the season for fairs and fun!
Thinking of organising a summer fete? Whether you want to go all out and book a festival-sized field, or hold a tombola in your village hall, every pound donated will help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer.
Spooky season
Halloween is the perfect time to organise a fancy dress party with friends, a creepy craft day at school or an eerie-sistable baking competition at work. Whatever you choose, your spooktacular support will help save childhood for more seriously ill kids.
Festive fun
Give the gift of hope, joy and family time to patients at GOSH with some festive fun-raising. Choose from a Christmas jumper day, gingerbread house decorating, carol singing, Santa dash or festive quiz... the list goes on! Check out more ideas on our festive fundraising page.
