Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and Children’s Health Foundation (CHF) are hosting the sixth bi-annual Friendship Ball to raise funds in support of GOSH and CHF.

About the event

Now in its seventh year, the Friendship Ball has raised nearly £5 million to support the vital work of Children’s Health Foundation, Ireland (formerly Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin) and Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity in London.

Firmly established as a highlight of the social calendar in both London and Dublin, the Ball brings together 350 high-net-worth guests, corporate partners, and leading philanthropists for an unforgettable evening of generosity and celebration. Tables of ten are sold at £10,000, with all proceeds shared equally between the two world-class children’s hospitals.

Previous years have welcomed The Duchess of Edinburgh, Sir Michael Smurfit, Gloria Hunniford, The Edge, Yasmin Le Bon, Michael Flatley, Ronan Keating, and Pixie Lott, Natalie Imbruglia and Sophie Ellis-Bextor cementing the event’s reputation as a truly exceptional night of glamour, giving, and goodwill between Ireland and the UK.

Why we need your support

Taking place at the iconic Natural History Museum in London, the event is targeted to raise an incredible £800,000 for vital cancer services, including a new high dependency unit, the Sight and Sound Centre for children with hearing impairments, and our current appeal for a groundbreaking new Children's Cancer Centre.
