Leaf printing art

Collect fallen leaves during your daily exercise.

What to do

  • Help your child collect fallen leaves from your garden or local park during your daily exercise.
  • Put the leaves under a piece of paper at home and rub different coloured crayons over the top, revealing the leaf impression.
  • Frame and hang the impressions on your wall to admire or use the decorated paper to make something else – a crown, a card, a paper aeroplane – whatever you want!

Support from the Play team

“Children will love combining art and nature. This game helps encourage creativity, hand-eye coordination and fine and gross motor skills.”
