Pick your fundraising idea
Want to fundraise but unsure of what to do? Have a look here and see if we can help you get started.
How you can help right now
We're so grateful to everyone who raises money to support us. There are lots of ways you can raise dosh for GOSH from the safety and comfort of your own home or by following safe, social distancing guidelines.
Do your own thing
We have lots of ideas in our how you can help booklet that can be used or adapted - whether that's virtually or following social distancing guidelines. Once you've got something in mind, let us know and head to our plan page. We've loved seeing how people have adapted their fundraising for us during this time, just like Casper and his family when taking part in the 2.6 challenge.
Casper's family
Casper’s seven-year-old son, Toby, was born with a heart condition, which resulted in him undergoing surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) after he was born. Casper, Toby and the family decided to get involved with The 2.6 Challenge, by copying 26 of the most popular viral TikToks and filming them all day.
Casper said, “My nine-year old daughter is far cooler than me and had introduced me to a little of the TikTok phenomenon. The 2.6 challenge actually gave us an opportunity to get involved in a way we wouldn't have been able to previously: having some fun as a family and (in my case) making a massive fool of myself.”
The family started with a fundraising target of £260 and asked friends and relatives to donate £2.60. Before 10am on the same day they had already raised more than £1000 for GOSH Charity! You can see their video here.
Set up your TeamGOSH Fund
Do you have a close connection to GOSH? TeamGOSH Funds are built by families and friends to celebrate someone special - maybe your child, a relative, or a friend. They help you bring people and fundraising together and keep your personal link to GOSH at the heart of everything you do. Find out more about them and how to start one here.
