“Who doesn’t want to play in a band? It’s quick, easy, involves everyone, and doesn’t require any equipment or planning. Children will have great fun expressing their musical side. It’s a good one to help ‘let it all out’! This activity also encourages good communication skills, creativity and physical play.”

Get pots and pans from the cupboard and make your own music.

What to do

  • Bring out the pots and pans from the cupboard, along with some wooden spoons, and create your own band!
  • Play along to well-known songs or make your own music, or even work towards putting on a concert.
